The house is situated in the much desirable village of Sannat, minutes walk from the village square and from stunning cliff walks. At the end of the street is a little square which has three quaint village bars, one in particular the renowned ‘Rosina’s Bar’ where locals, celebrities (who have homes here in this quaint village, seeking refuge) and foreigners all drink together in it’s tiny interior or outside in the square.
The village street is well serviced by local produce. There are three different bakery vans passing by every morning, a fish van and other vans selling anything from groceries, bottled drinks to clothing. There is also a vegetable cart at the end of the street selling freshly picked local grown seasonal produce
Other amenities within walking distance include two local stores, a hardware stores, two butchers, a local band club and football clubs, village school, park and the natural park which is protected because of the endemic plant life there. On the outskirts of the village is a five star hotel ‘Ta Cenc which has a health and beauty club open to non residents and an outstanding restaurant. There are also other local restaurants within walking distance
Below are a selection of photographs of local scenes.
